Professor Michael Oluniyi Ogundiran is on leave at University of Medical Sciences (2024-2025) is a graduate of Mathematics Department, University of Ibadan, B.Sc. (First Class Hons.). He also earned M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the same Department. He had won a number of Awards and Scholarships. He also won International Mathematical Union(IMU)-SIMONS grants 2016 spent as Visiting Scientist at University of Rome, Tor-Vergata in 2017.
He started his Academic Career as Associate Mathematics Lecturer in Mathematics and Statistics Department, Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State, November 2002-July 2003. He was later appointed as Assistant Lecturer in Mathematics, August 2003 in the same Department. He joined the services of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife as Lecturer II in Mathematics, 2007 and rose through the ranks to become a full Professor of Mathematics in 2019.
He is a member of Nigerian Mathematical Society and an active Reviewer of Mathematical Reviews(MR) of American Mathematical Society(AMS).
